Founded in 2000 by Alexandre Guichard, and after major investments in research, development and marketing, RocTool is experiencing a significant growth since 2008, with important milestones reached in the last five years:
2011: Turnover and staff doubled while pursuing significant investments with the opening of demonstration centers in Italy, Germany, Taiwan and Japan
2012: First strategic agreements with key manufacturers (automotive and electronics) plus the launch of RocTool’s own brand of induction generators
2013: Successful listing on NYSE Alternext in Paris
2014: Creation of RocTool North American subsidiary (RocTool Inc.) in Charlotte, NC
2015: More than 40 active users worldwide
Today, RocTool is a Heat and Cool technologies leader on a worldwide scale. RocTool’s advanced molding technologies, protected by more than 80 patents, are used in production in many market segments such as automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace and more. With an innovative engineering staff and molding experts, RocTool can support world-class brands to achieve unique applications.
RocTool induction process is now fully adapted for plastic injection and compression molding, including multiple configurations to fit with tier manufacturers requirements. RocTool’s Research and Development team is adapting the technologies to more materials including metal.
