Cage System® is a patented molding technology that heats the mold surface by induction. The mold is then quickly cooled down due the cold water lines close to the tool surface.
This technology is dedicated to medium to large volumes, high temperature molding and other applications that demand a high quality.
This unique process allows a very fast cycle time, due to only heating of the mold surface.
Principal advantages :
- Rapid heating and cooling due to the tool surface heating by induction and cooling by the water lines.
- No tool preheating is necessary
- Precise and effective control of the temperature, possibility of reaching very high temperatures (+400° C )
- User friendly/Easy usage and integration within an industrial production environment.
