CAGE SYSTEM AND OTHER ROCTOOL INNOVATIVE MOULDING TECHNOLOGIES

The Cage System is a patented moulding technology
which heats the tool surface by induction. The mould is
then cooled down rapidly with water cooling lines which
are placed closed to the tool surface. This unique process
achieves a very fast cycle time thanks to the induction,
which heats only the tool surface. This technology is
dedicated to high volume production and is a good solution for thermoplastic and thermoset materials.

The Cage System is dedicated to high volume production and companies willing to increase their production rate.

Main advantages:

• Fast heating / cooling thanks to the inductive
  heating and cooling system
• Good Temperature control, it is possible to have
  different temperatures during the cycle (ideal for
  thermoset materials)
• The Cage System® can process preheated
  materials: surface would be preheated in few
  seconds to have an optimal material transfer in the
  mould
• The Cage System® can process non preheated
  materials (composite fabrics, chopped materials…):
  no need to preheat the material, heating and
  cooling in the same tool in one cycle (ideal for
  thermoplastic materials)
