works in conjunction with several manufacturers,  OEM
and material providers (automotive, sport and
leisure,
aircraft…) in order to adapt its Cage System®,
and
other RocTool technologies, to conventional processes like
RTM, Thermo compression, Injection thermo
compression,
Thermoplastic injection, SMC processing…
Companies
wanting to test the Cage System®, or other
RocTool
technology, develop a prototype tool with RocTool and
run trials at RocTool’s facilities.
RocTool
runs 2D and 3D simulations which can simulate
the
electromagnetic field of the Cage System® in order to
validate
the prototype before making the tool.
In
conjunction with the tool maker and the customer,
RocTool
also coordinates the tool design for the prototype tool. |

RocTool
facilities include: three hydraulic presses (max: 1.5
meters x 1.2 meters), several inductive generators
(main
generator is 300 KW, provided by EFD Induction)
and
two cooling units. The RocTool facilities are ideal for prototype
trials and technology validation.
