A few words from the President

In 2009, RocTool crossed over to a new phase, after 9 years of hard work and R & D, production has been put in place with high volume parts being manufactured with the first licensees.

RocTool’s introduction into the plastic injection industry has been a great success and represents over 50% of all new projects.

The company also launched a new process of molding by induction, 3iTech® at the end of 2009. This has also reinforced the international patent portfolio with the acquisition of the Indumold® technology from the Germany institute KIMW.

From this point onwards, RocTool is the leader of “Heat & Cool” technologies for molding of plastic materials and composites and holds a unique portfolio of technological patents world-wide.

RocTool launched an IMTU (Innovative Molding Technologies Update) Tour in 2010, with events held in France, Germany, Japan and the USA. Approximately 1500 companies’ world-wide have participated in these exceptional RocTool events and discovered our processes first hand from being present at the live demonstrations during this IMTU Tour.

Being listed on the Stock Exchange “NYSE Euronext Paris” in 2008 has enhanced the company’s credibility and has allowed reinforcement of the work force with highly qualified specialists in the industry, in order to prolong the international development of current and all new clientele.

We have practically doubled the number of contacts we have in one year, the business propositions and visits to our website have tripled. Even though we preached the benefits of using the “Heat and Cool” process since the company’s creation, it has only made an impact on the market in the past year. Resin and equipment providers, manufacturers and constructors, are now showing a keen interest for these technologies. Our pioneer status in this field will definitely be to our advantage in the years ahead. We approach this with much confidence in our technologies and our unique know-how.
